Website Designs

Gone are the days when viewers read the whole information on your website. With the attention span reducing of people, you need to create smart designs which would create a good first impression and make the visitor stay on your website. Most companies are opting for a single page design which would incorporate all the information about their brand. It is the responsibility of the designer to carefully decide which UX design would be suitable for a single page website.

Divide the page into sections

When designing the page, you need to divide the web page into sections. This will help to break down the different categories of your website and you would be able to design each one properly. Think about the header and footer first, and move on to the other parts. Try to incorporate the theme of the category into its design. You can either use different colors to divide the page, or just use one color theme to go with everything.

Easy navigation design

Don’t give your users a hard time to scroll up and down the website. It the design is not proper, it would distract them and make them lose interest in the design. Your main purpose is to make the user stick to the page, and click on Call-To-Action option or whatever purpose your website serves.  Also, keep everything simple and don’t include too many pictures or videos. Putting text is fine, but keep it short and do not put long paragraphs or too many details.

Match the theme of your company

Are you a service provider or providing information about your business? Or is your website serving as a marketing plan to your client? Whatever the purpose of your website may be, choose the colors and design accordingly. If it is strictly professional for business clients, then opt for black and white themes. If you are from a creative industry, you can choose bold colors and trendy patterns to include in the background.

Consider the hierarchy of options

What is the main section which you want to put first on your website? Design a layout or consult it with other stakeholders. You can also take the suggestions of the content writer who will be providing the content of the website. Keep important things at the top such as your company’s mission, a call to action in the middle, and other information at the end. Try to keep everything organized so that it does not look jumbled up.

Designing a single page website will become simpler when you implement these tips in your next design project. You can even achieve excellence in a limited space.
