Illustration Design

In my last post we had discussed about the differences between a logo design and Illustration project. So this time i took some liberty to feature and explain more about 3D styling in illustration and Character Illustration work which we can provide so if you need a new Mascot Design for your company or a Character Design to represent your product or brand then you know where to look for  🙂

Mascot of Character Design requires some in depth knowledge of the character itself which is important to communicate before a successful project is undertaken. So the first thing we do is discuss in detail about the specs and expectation of the character and what role is it going to play in the branding efforts of the company or campaign.

Once we know the design specs, work is started with basic preliminary drafts to get a feel for the design, which is then further brainstormed and this starts the illustration logo design or character design process. First we draft the ideas on paper, for instance i will show you a character show-reel which we have designed for a pizza company which is going to become their mascot and corporate identity. The process from sketching to final design is shown below to highlight how the process will work.

As you can see from the above illustration that it involves various stages which inspires the look, gestures, body language and theme of a character while in the end the marketing pitch is placed with the company product professionally integrated into the design.
